Feeling a bit testy...
Good morning!
This morning's blog is the usual before-the-test post: Write some test questions, please! The test is over the entire play, Much Ado About Nothing, and you may write fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, or essay questions from any part of the play or our class discussion or previous blogs. Information about the author (Shakespeare, silly!) is also included.
Please keep in mind that we have two full periods dedicated to the discussion of the play, and most of that will be discussing key points of Much Ado that were not placed on your question list. Therefore, you will need to pay attention and take notes (no sleeping behind sunglasses, chatting with your neighbor, attempting sign language, or "mentally preparing for the game").
I don't intend to really go over each of the questions on the list one-by-one, as we went over any questions over the questions on Friday. Be prepared for pop quizzes, since we haven't had one yet!
Do a good job! The better you do, the more likely it is that I will use your question.

In Much Ado, there are many cases of things appearing differently than what they really are. Discuss how Dogberry fits into this description for the posative.

Why was Beatrice most likely timid to enter into a relationship with Benedick?
*** Benedick had hurt Beatrice in a previous relationship and proved to be a "player" who didn't really care and wanted only to be a batchelor. However, it is clear that she still housed feelings for him when she inquires about him while he is at war.
