And So We Continue...

Greetings!

To help out our volleyball players who will be "taking one for the team" (a vacation, that is) at the beach this weekend, the blog is hereby posted early.

Today you are to continue working with the thesis statement you created Thursday by writing the three accompanying topic sentences that you would use to begin each body paragraph. Obviously, they should be posted in the order that the three topics appeared in your thesis statement.

Be aware now, if you aren't already, that you will eventually be writing the complete paper. If you don't like your topic that you chose on Thursday, then start again, putting the new thesis statement in this post, along with the three topic sentences. (Don't forget to add transitions, as if you were really writing the paper!)

Have a grand time, even if you're not going to the beach.

Love,
Mrs. D

^The new Ford Mustang GT is deffinately the "go-get-er" type and trounces the Mitsubishi Eclipse Spider with its looks, speed, and the beautiful sound of its engine.

The most noticable feature on any sports car is the looks. Based off of the original muscle car Mustang, the new Mustang GT gives off an agressive, dominant apperance with its cutting features. Whereas the Eclipse Spider attempts to capture your attention with its sleak and smooth characteristics.

What is the main purpose for purchasing a sports car such as the Mustang GT or the Eclipse Spider? For most people, or rather for most men, the biggest thrill of a sports car is its speed.

When a car such as the Mustang GT cannot be seen, it still manages to draw plenty of attention to itself with the sound of its engine. While the Eclipse Spider can have a nice pur to its V6 engine, the Mustang GT's V8 engine has more of a growl to it.^
